Třetí díl Evropského poháru handbiků se jel 3. dubna 2010 ve francouzském Rosenau. Šlo o silniční závod s distancí 44 kilometrů.Start kategorie MH3 byl v 11:02 h. V této kategorii jsme měli zastoupení dvou českých závodníků. Startovali zde Stanislav Bíza a Dušan Petřvalský. Oběma se dařilo celkem dobře, Stana v první polovině jel do dvacáté pozice a Dušan něco málo za ním. V cíli skončil Dušan na 21. místě s časem 1:22:11, Stana skončil 24. s dvouminutovou ztrátou na Dušana. Celý závod se jel za deštivého počasí a teplotě kolem 5°C.
Kategorie MH2 startovala ve 13:15. To už bylo slunečné počasí a teplota kolem 10°C. Z našich závodníků v této
kategorii jeli Michal Šiška a Radim Liška. Oba rozjeli závod dobře, ale Michalovi se začalo v druhém kole povolovat uchycení převodových talířů. Musel tak v průběhu závodu dotahovat převodník a to ovlivnilo jeho výsledek. Dojel 31. s časem 1:20:05. Radim skončil o něco hůře na 54. místě. Byl to však jeho první závod Evropského poháru který jel mimo ČR.
V kategorii MH1.2 jsme měli zastoupení taktéž dvou závodníků – Martina Kováře a Pavla Foltýna. Bohužel, odstartovat mohl jen Pavel, protože Martin si doma zapomněl licenci UCI. Nemohl tak přidat další zlato do své sbírky a bral celou akci jako výlet. Pavel skončil na 8. místě s časem 1:29:55. Toto místo držel i v průběhu celého závodu.
Všem zúčastněným k jejich umístění gratulujeme a budeme jim držet palce i v dalším závodě, který se pojede 15. května ve švýcarském Schenkonu.
Zároveň chceme všechny pozvat na první závod ČESKÉHO POHÁRU HANDBIKU POŠTOVNÍ SPOŘITELNY 2010, který se jede 17.4 v Pardubicích.
